Artist Statement -
Nicholas Hudson Paine
My work uses contemporary views and techniques mixed with classical imagery, collage, photos, scraps, text and abstraction to explore my personal thoughts and feelings on the themes of personal emotion, past experience, romance, religion, sport, memory, identity, the human condition and time.
